The RESET project was launched with an online Kick-Off Meeting

On Wednesday 23 February 2022, the Erasmus+ project RESET – Resources for Post-pandemic Effective Training – was launched with an online Kick-Off Meeting. The partnership is composed of experienced partners: IAL FVG – Lead Partner (IT); EPIC European Platform for International Cohesion (IT); NLP Aalborg (DK); Aalborg Handelsskole (DK); IHKPROJEKTGESELLSCHAFT MBH (DE); IHF INSTITUT DE HAUTE FORMATION AUX POLITIQUES COMMUNAUTAIRES (BE); INTERNET WEB SOLUTIONS (ES). The partnership met for the first time and started the work that will lead to the creation of tools and training courses dedicated to the development of digital pedagogical competences and skills of VET practitioners.

As highlighted in several reports, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the digital transition, but at the same time the situation has underlined the digital knowledge and skills deficit of teachers, trainers, coordinators and other VET staff. From here, RESET will focus on recognising and mapping the digital needs of VET professionals in order to create training and operational tools using the DigCompEdu, the European framework for the digital competence of educators.

β€˜To what extent are they able to identify, evaluate and select digital resources to support and improve teaching and learning?’ This is just one of the questions that will be used to investigate, develop and implement the RESET project in a practical way in order to address the real digital needs of the VET system.
